New iBook G4
A faster iBook G4 is now available with a starting price of $1,099 and processor speeds up to 1.2 GHz. The iBook, with its processing power, affordability and durable polycarbonate plastic body design, makes an excellent choice for a college student or anyone who needs a highly portable portable. All models feature an optical Combo Drive that reads and writes CDs and reads DVDs; and Apple’s AirPort Extreme and Bluetooth wireless capability. You can even add a 4x-speed-DVD-burning SuperDrive on 14-inch models.

Apple’s professional PowerBook laptops
also got an upgrade, with 1.33 GHz and 1.5 GHz G4 processors and 4x SuperDrive option.
