Introducing Apple AirPort Express
This month, Apple introduced a new wireless product
that makes taking your AirPort-enabled Mac on
the road easier, helps expand your existing wi-fi
network, and lets you connect to your iTunes music
library from nearly every room in your house.
AirTunes
If you have a library of music in iTunes,
Apple has just giving you a way listen to your
favorite tunes away from your Mac. Just plug the
AirPort Express into a wall socket, plug your
stereo or wired speakers into the unit, and set
up AirTunes from your wireless enabled Macintosh.
You can now enjoy your iTunes playlists in virtually
any room in your home.
Expand
your existing network
With AirPort Express acting as a wireless bridge
you can expand the range of your existing AirPort
Extreme base station. Its diminutive size and
attractive body style makes this a great way to
expand your AirPort network beyond its 150-foot
range.
Take
AirPort Express with you
Now you can easily roam around your hotel room
or office and wirelessly connect to a broadband
network. Just plug the data cable into the AirPort
Express and connect wirelessly from your laptop,
or share your internet connection with your wireless
friends.
Wireless
printing
Hook your USB printer up to the AirPort Extreme
and print from your wireless Macs. Now you can
easily share your printer with your entire family
or office network.
